Solutions
-
Constructing a fixed-grid design with well-defined borders on the screen with a twofold menu: a main one, and a secondary one for each content area.
-
Sifting-through the information to present the most relevant content, consistently, and with an eye to fitting the fixed-grid. Defining a fixed-grid design for information that displays in the lower 1/3 of the screen, and a fixed-grid design for information which displays within a square area on the left side of the screen.
-
Navigating via main menu which includes the secondary menus. When a user selects either menu, alternate menus drop-down and a customized sub-menu for the selected one appears. While on screen, the user is presented with a consistent element which opens the navigation to other menus. The sub-menus appear as a permanent footer while navigating the selected content.
